Delivery, Shipping, Assembly & Design Services

At Shopooly Furniture & Decoration, we take great care in ensuring your furniture arrives safely, securely, and in the best possible condition. Our delivery and installation process is designed to provide a smooth and hassle-free experience from factory to your home.

Delivery & Shipping

All of our furniture is fully customized and manufactured to order. Most items are delivered fully assembled or semi-assembled directly from our factory, minimizing the need for on-site assembly and ensuring superior quality control.

Sydney Delivery

  • Standard delivery within the Sydney metropolitan area is included in our advertised prices.
  • Delivery is provided to ground-floor locations.
  • Additional charges may apply for deliveries requiring access to upper floors, stairs, difficult access, or special handling requirements.

Interstate & Regional Delivery

For deliveries outside Sydney or interstate locations, shipping costs will be calculated based on:

  • Delivery destination
  • Accessibility of the property
  • Order size and volume
  • Weight of items
  • Packaging requirements
  • Freight and transportation conditions at the time of shipment

Delivery charges provided at the time of ordering are estimates only. Due to fluctuations in freight costs, fuel prices, international shipping conditions, and market circumstances, final delivery costs may vary by up to 20% above or below the original estimate.

Packaging & Protection

We understand the importance of protecting your investment during transportation. To ensure maximum safety, our furniture is packaged using:

  • Heavy-duty cartons
  • Protective foam and sponge wrapping
  • Multiple protective layers
  • Reinforced corner protection
  • Timber crates where required

Every item is carefully prepared to minimize the risk of damage during transit and handling.

Assembly, Placement & Rubbish Removal

For Sydney customers, we offer an optional premium delivery service that includes:

  • Delivery to your property
  • Unpacking of furniture
  • Placement in the desired room and position
  • Basic styling and positioning assistance
  • Removal and disposal of packaging materials

This service is charged between $250 and $500, depending on the size and complexity of the order.

For furniture orders exceeding $10,000, this service is provided free of charge and is included in the purchase price.

Delivery Inspection & Damage Claims

We work only with experienced and professional delivery providers to ensure the highest standards of care during transportation.

Upon receiving your order, customers are required to:

  • Inspect all furniture and packages within 1–2 days of delivery.
  • Report any damage, defects, missing items, or discrepancies immediately.

Any claims reported more than 2 days after delivery may not be covered and may result in replacement or repair charges, depending on the circumstances.

Property Access Requirements

Our delivery teams will normally deliver furniture to the property's entrance or doorstep.

In some circumstances, delivery personnel may assist with moving items inside the property with the customer's permission. However, customers must ensure:

  • Access pathways are clear and safe
  • Doorways, hallways, staircases, and lifts are suitable for the furniture dimensions
  • Flooring and wall surfaces are protected where necessary

Shopooly Furniture & Decoration and its delivery partners cannot accept responsibility for damage resulting from restricted access, unsuitable entryways, or customer instructions regarding item placement.

Upstairs Deliveries

Deliveries involving stairs, upper floors, difficult access, crane lifting, or special handling requirements will incur additional charges.

These charges may be arranged and paid directly to the delivery team on-site or quoted in advance where possible.
